About The Artist...

Thomas Edward Minder is an eclectic artist who works in many mediums. They include Indian ink, pencil, oils, washes, and ink stippling. While experiencing his art you may notice much of it reflects "sexual innuendoes" and surrealism. As quoted by the artist, "There is no life without sex." All our lives are touched by it in one way or another.

Tom, as known by his friends, was born July 8, 1954 in Suffolk County, N.Y. He began his journey into art on April 1, 1972 after his first of many car accidents.

During his lifetime he as experienced the trials and tribulations of single parenthood, child rearing, and his greatest test of all, the loss of his only son Forest in 1993. All of these things have attributed to his unique style of art.

For the future this artist is working towards a dream. While working as a contractor out of his home in Dover-Foxcroft, Me. where he has resided since July 4, 1984, he is also in the process of completing a ‘members only’ club. The club will allow members, and other artists to enjoy a social and artistic experience. Through the sale of his art and the help of his friends, along with a will and soul, this dream will soon come to pass.
