Trainers:

Gail McCormack, owner & operator of Infinity Farm:
Gail Gail McCormack grew up in Massachusetts where she rode hunt seat and evented during her junior years. She rode with Maureen Markey, Alan "Nick" Rodday, Sally McCoy as well as Bruce Davidson, Tad Coffin and Mitch Steege. Gail and her husband then moved to Maine where she and her husband now operate Infinity Farm in Dover-Foxcroft. Gail has earned her MDS Silver medal and is working toward finishing her scores for her USDF bronze. In ever pursuing to learn, Gail has attended USDFs FEI trainers workshop in 2007,2008, 2009 in Wellington Florida. Also the USDF symposium in 2009 with Herbertus Schmidt.

Gail continues her education being an active participant in USDF instructorworkshops that have included faculty members Vicki Hammers ,Melanie Tenney as well as others. Also she has audited the USDF "L" judges program, but decided not to be a participant so she could focus on the training and teaching aspects of riding. Gail has earned her instructor certification scores needed for herself in Dressage for her certification this year with Orpheus, a Belgian WB from Canada. The Jones family, whose 2 of their children ride with Gail, generously allowed Gail to ride, to obtain her scores.

Many students that ride at Infinity Farm have had an impact on the local riding community. He students are known to have a vast knowledge and experience that is proven again and again. They work hard and aren't allowed short cuts to get the desired result of a happy relaxed obedient horse.

The horses a ridden correctly with proper support that will enhance the horse working over their back thru their muscling and not on their joints. Students that ride at Infinity Farm are educated, taught to see the big picture and keep an OPEN mind.

Infinity Farm has started and re-trained many horses, We take the time to figure what is best for that horse and go from there. We also spend much time educating the rider to be effective and help train their horse as well as use their rider position to be effective.

Currently Gail has Judy Westlake clinic at her facility on a monthly basis during the spring ,summer and fall.. Judy, is a successful Grand Prix level rider who has trained horses AND riders to Grand Prix. Judy clinics on a national level has ridden on an international level and frequently has articles in Dressage Today. Her lessons are geared to correct seat and effectiveness of aids. In the winter Gail travels to Loxahatchee, Florida to learn more from Judy. Gail also will bring students down for a week, month or more of dressage lessons(we set up jumping lessons too!) and exposure to the BIG world of international riding.

Infinity Farm also has clinics With Elijah Moore, a great natural horsemanship person that clinics at the farm and will help riders and horses with a multiple use of "tools" to help them communicate with their horse.

Gail has a way with introducing the training scale so that riders stay organized with their riding She is teach a student how to be effective in their riding so they can communicate with their horse on a level that the horse can understand.

Gail has an extensive understanding on body position over jumps and on the flat. Gail will take the dressage that a rider learns and take it to jumping and apply it successfuly there. Remember "dressage' means training , for flat AND jumping!

Katie Bragdon, Instructor & Trainer:
Katie My name is Katie Bragdon and I live in Corinth with my husband Nicholas. My family has owned horses all my life, but my first horse, Star's Breezy Boy, was given to me as a birthday gift when I turned 12, and he was a yearling. My family's farm, Breezy Acres, is named after Breezy, as he was the first foal born on the property. Even though I had been riding since I was a small child, Breezy was the first horse I trained. He and I learned together, and since then we have enjoyed many Championships at local shows. He is now partnering with my younger sister, Keri, showing once again at local shows. Besides Breezy, I currently own Breezy Acre Jake-a HUGE registered Belgian, Zeus-a paint-appaloosa gelding, and Okie's Stop Sign-a registered appaloosa gelding.

After working horses and teaching at a couple smaller stables in the summers during my school years, I made the move to Infinity Farm. I have been with Infinity Farm for going on 3 years now. Here I have schooled under Gail McCormack, USDF instructor Judy Westlake, and Mary Guenzel, and have gained invaluable experience during my time here. I am currently preparing with my 7 year old Appaloosa, Okie, for the Appaloosa Association Horse Shows in Skowhegan for this summer.

I offer instruction for all ages, in all riding disciplines, and train young horses as well as more mature horses that need help. I believe in working with horse and rider to help them become a more unified partnership.
