Benefit Trail Ride October 24th
Thursday, September 30, 2004
CENTRAL MAINE - Barry Babcock is the son of Kris Nicola, long time owner, trainer, and instructor at Stepping Stone Farm in Carmel. Barry was hit broadside by a car while riding his motorcycle. His leg was severely mangled and broken in several places. Doctors managed to save his leg but he will be out of work for as much as a year. He has a young family and the driver who hit him had no insurance.

The ride will be held in Troy at the home of Paula Leavitt. There will be a loop 10-12 miles long and a second loop 6-8 miles long. A homemade meal will be served afterward. You may take pledges or simply make a donation.

For more information contact Paula Leavitt 234-4537 or Betty Hauger 223-4061.
